Loved staying here in the cottage at Yarra Gables. The staff were really nice and the property was a sensational getaway from the hustle & bustle of Melbourne. Super easy access to loads of nice walks of course the Yarra Valley Wineries!!

Hotel is beautiful - views across the vineyards from infinity pool are stunning. Rooms are very well appointed, great bathrooms and free minibar a nice touch. However - only negative point - the service was *excellent* by the staff - I cannot fault the effort by the people working there ... BUT - they felt understaffed across hotel. 1 poor guy/girl working pool service for 16-20 people on beds. 1-2 boys or girls on front desk with no porters to help luggage so they have to do that. on a trip of 9 weeks staying in 32 different locations this was the most comfortable accommodation, anf the others weren't bad. Everything was provided. The bungalow was so well designed it felt spacious. The management was excellent and very obliging. Only a couple of miles from downtown Geelong and yet it was quiet and peaceful.

Very convenient for all terminals- easy to walk, no need for shuttle. Runway view room was good.

Our room was huge and magnificent and included a table and chairs as well as a settee and armchair. The hotel restaurant was excellent and the breakfast buffet was also good. The view from our bedroom was OK but there isn't much in the way of scenery in the area other than vineyards. The hotel overall was excellent and we would definitely recommend it to others.
