I stayed for 9 nights and have to say, this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at anywhere in the world. Absolutely perfect in every way. I slept like a baby every night. Just wonderful.

Lovely staff, delicious breakfast, probably the best hotel gym I’ve been to and a stunning facility. Restaurant food was really good and well priced, menu wasn’t huge, but didn’t need to be either. One of my favourites hotel stays, wholeheartedly recommended.

Staff were very efficient, pleasant and helpful. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. The only downside was a shortage of hanging spaceI would definitely recommend the Royce.

Hotel is beautiful - views across the vineyards from infinity pool are stunning. Rooms are very well appointed, great bathrooms and free minibar a nice touch.
However - only negative point - the service was *excellent* by the staff - I cannot fault the effort by the people working there ... BUT - they felt understaffed across hotel. 1 poor guy/girl working pool service for 16-20 people on beds. 1-2 boys or girls on front desk with no porters to help luggage so they have to do that. I am a well travelled hotel stayer, over 50 years of travelling under my belt and the Hilton in Melbourne was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The staff went above and beyond, they facilitated an early check in and a late checkout to work around my flight timings. They let us use the lounge whilst we waited for our room, when we were jet lagged and slept all day, awake all night, they checked up on us to see if we needed anything.
The staff are fortunately empowered by their management to...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and our room overlooked the river and CBD.The hotel was close to restaurants, shops and other tourist attractions. Maybe a little more expensive, but worth the extra money, mainly because of it's location.
