I had a room with private hot spring because I didn’t know if I’d have the courage to use the public one, but I ended up using both. The private onsen is much colder and deeper than the public one (I was there in a cold night in April - 1oC). They serve traditional Japanese breakfast."

Things like the shuttle bus and baggage delivery service options and the breakfast were hard for novice Americans to navigate. For a Japanese speaker, I think it would be very very nice."
