"The hotel was amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time there. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.big thanks to lale she was there always for me , as well mister morat incredibly amazing and so helpful"
"Centrally located. Bazaar literally a stones throw. Lovely staff. Great breakfast selection. Beware tourists love to take pictures just in front of the hotel. Also beware your taxi cannot come to the front door during working hours which is a nuisance."

"The room was a bit small, air conditioning worked very well, and the staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful, especially Ekrem, who was excellent.
Breakfast was your typical Turkish breakfast, where you’re given a menu and choose what you’d like. The views from the breakfast area were, once again, incredible.
The bathroom was a little on the squashy side, and I noticed that the cover over the ventilation fan looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. That definitely could have used some attention.
There was also a young, rather solidly built lady who appeared to be a team leader. She could certainly have done with a smile now and then instead of looking so serious all the time! 😄 Despite us tipping the cleaning lady and the breakfast staff every day—including her—there was never much improvement, or even a smile, from her.
Other than that, the staff were friendly enough. Murat, who also seemed to be a team leader (like the “solid” lady 😄), was very professional and took good care of us.
Overall, there were some small things that could have been improved, but the friendly and professional staff, particularly Ekrem and Murat, made a positive difference."
"We stayed at deCamondo Galata and it was excellent. If it's your first time in Istanbul, the location is hard to beat.
We were in the Banque building. Modern boutique style, and the twin room was big, clean, and comfortable. Marble bathroom was spot on. Nice amenities, plus free Nespresso, water, and tea. The open brick design gave it some character instead of looking like every other hotel room.
Staff were attentive. Anything we raised got fixed straight away. They gave good food recommendations and area tips whenever we asked, though the places they suggested were on the pricey side. There's a Michelin Guide restaurant within walking distance that's worth it, and honestly some nearby spots were better and cheaper.
Breakfast was the best part. It's on the second building's rooftop, which is confusing to find the first time, but you figure it out. À la carte, and the bread basket, cold cuts, jams, honey, butter, and fruit were all great. Plenty of coffee, tea, and soft drinks, and lots of options from eggs to vegetarian to sweet and savoury. The view covers Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Bosphorus.
A few things could be better. There's no wellness area or hot tub, which you'd want after walking around Istanbul all day. No gym either, which is disappointing for a Tribute Portfolio. The rooftop bar and restaurant is fine but expensive, a beer is about $10, which is steep for Istanbul. Walls are thin, I could hear everything the neighbours did."
"The hotel was great and the location was good for what we were looking to do. The room was hot during our entire stay, although I tried to get adjust the temperature to make it cooler, it was pretty warm. Aside from that everything was good and we would stay here again."
"Perfect hotel to use as base for exploring the city as it is walkable to everything. Safe and vibrant neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, very quiet. My only notes of caution are that the AC is centrally controlled and trended to be too cold - I was able to open a window and turn it off at night but I don’t know if that’s an option in every room. Also the breakfast is fresh and tasty and sets you up well for a day’s walking but is quite basic, not the lavish affair in other Istanbul hotels."
"Novotel Istanbul has a very good location, especially for travelers who enjoy having plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The hotel is just a few steps from Galataport and about a 5-minute walk from the tram station. From there, it is only about three stops to Eminönü, making it easy to visit many of Istanbul’s main attractions.
The neighborhood is quite busy and can feel crowded, but overall, the convenient location makes up for it. It’s a good choice if you want to be close to restaurants, transportation, Galataport, and the main tourist areas of Istanbul."
