"I stayed at Senatus hotel during April 23 to 28 and May 5 to May 6, 2023. The location is quite close to the main Haga Sophia and Blue mosque, probably 8-10 minutes’ walk, which is a big plus for anyone, who want to visit the main attractions on his/her own, and any time. I was pleasantly surprised when my room was upgraded without asking . The room was of decent size, and was cleaned daily, with expected amenities. If everything else is the same between different hotels then service is the differentiating feature. This is where Senatus excelled. Mr.Ismail and Hasan were two main personnel, who I dealt with and were extremely helpful for guidance. Mr.Ismail prepared my itinerary within a day for multiple cities. However, the act that made me say “ You have bought me” was his relentless efforts to arrange a physician’s visit with necessary tests and treatment, within few hours, when I became acutely ill. It was a time-sensitive issue as I had to leave for an extended tour the next day, otherwise I had to cancel the entire tour, or send my wife alone. In addition, he arranged transport for my wife whose departure was few hours later than mine, for a reasonable fee. If you are not looking for an extravagant place to stay with bells and whistles and want a great service experience, consider this hotel for your stay; safe, reasonable price with decent breakfast and excellent service. "

"Staff were very helpful to upgrade rooms and change too. Rooms are nonsmoking but unfortunately smoke smell lingered in one of the rooms. The staff swiftly moved me to one of the best rooms in the hotel and I would book the room again, if I’m back in Istanbul. Great helpful, happy staff. The salt peeling scrub in the spa was excellent. Really helped before travelling home. "

"Beautiful hotel located in the heart of Sultanahmet. My parents and I stayed in Deluxe Triple room which was very spacious, nicely decorated and had a little French balcony:) Breakfast area is really nice and has gorgeous views:) The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!
