"Cleaning is zero, I stayed 5 days room never been cleaned. Breakfast buffet was horrible and dirty (there was hair on scrambled egg which they put on buffet). Automatically you are getting negative vibes on breakfast area."

"It may be a relatively small hotel but it is stunningly decorated and spotlessly clean. Great rooftop restaurant with views over the river into the Bosphorus and perfectly placed for walks around the many old city sights and, of course, bazaars. To top it off, the staff were a dream, all of them, so helpful without ever being overpowering. That we did, and saw, so much in our 4 days was largely down to their help and advice. 5 stars and the rest!"

"Emerald Mansion Hotel is right in the middle of so many attractions which are just right for walking. The hotel staff are professional in every way and helped us with many questions while we were there. Great help with arranging transport wherever we needed to go as well as restaurant suggestions which we ate at and enjoyed. Felt safe and protected at all times. "Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town (so the roads around are narrow and hilly - but so is most of Istanbul) The area is safe, bustling with local shops and literally a 10 minute walk from all the famous sights in the old town. That includes the ferries and cruise suppliers. The rooftoo restaurant has exactly the views you see in the hotels website...its beautiful having breakfast and evening meal up there. We used the spa and you can use all the amenities including pool, sauna, steam room and haman. Only the massage/turkish bath teatments are extra. We had a turkish massage/bath and it was devine. So much more reasonable than in the dedicated hamans. The room was spotless, the staff were brilliant and we also pre booked transfer through the hotel. Whilst there may be cheaper alternatives, the driver in was brilliant and wanted to show off his beautiful city and kept stopping for usbto take ohotos etc. It was like a mini private tour. Top tip...if you book the airport transfer...you need to pay in cash to the hotel. All in all this was a perfect hotel in a perfect location for us and would heartily recommend."

"had a wonderful stay at Ajwa Hotel Istanbul. The location is excellent—very close to many of the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The hotel restaurant was very good, and there are also plenty of great dining options nearby. I also experienced a traditional Turkish bath (hammam) at the hotel, which was a highlight of my stay. What truly stood out was the staff—everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul."
