"I like the hotel very convenient location but the only downside you have to go across the street to park and if the elevator is not working you have go down a lot of stairs, another downside is the breakfast, they tell you have a credit they will apply it at check out and then at the end of you trip they don’t give u the credits they promised."

The Royal at Atlantis

"We chose the Royal Atlantis because of the reviews and proximity to things we wanted to do. Upgraded to an ocean view as well. I was a little disappointed with how uncomfortable the beds were and shocked the tub had large amounts of paint chipped off of it from previous repainting job. We ordered room service a few times. The second time the food was 2 hours late. Had to call operator to find out about it and there was no compensation; which was shocking, especially when they get an automatic 15% gratuity and convenience fee added. Ended up having a pair of my shoes come up missing as well. It was upsetting their cigarette stations were along paths of high traffic areas making it hard to breathe. If I had it to do again I would stay at the comfort suits and just have the free benefit of the Atlantis wrist band instead of staying there as I thought it was going to be immaculate."

Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort

"We had a great stay at the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort. The location is excellent and within walking distance of downtown Willemstad, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the resort itself was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the overall atmosphere of the property. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the resort advertises beach access, and we were expecting a traditional beach. While there is a beach area, it’s a man-made lagoon rather than a natural Curaçao beach with open ocean access. It was still nice and enjoyable, but it wasn’t what we envisioned when we booked. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would recommend the resort, especially for travelers who want a convenient location, great service, and easy access to Willemstad. Just be aware that if you’re looking for Curaçao’s famous natural beaches, you’ll likely want to explore some of the island’s other beach locations during your stay."

"Had an amazing stay at La Concha Resort! Our room had an incredible ocean view right on Condado Beach — woke up to that view every morning and it never got old. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach and walking distance to great restaurants and nightlife. The iconic shell-shaped lobby/lounge area is such a cool touch and a great spot to grab a drink at sunset. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting San Juan"
