"For the most part the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Rooms were comfortable and homey, just on the small side, but very clean when we arrived and during our week stay. The one negative was that on a couple of occasions the shower went from cold to hot to very hot suddenly. The breakfast was good: fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles, coffee, cottage cheese, juices, bread, bagels. We heard the street noise from the room, but not unusual for New York City. Public transportation was easy to walk to. We would happily stay again! "

"Good location in Chelsea, very convenient for walking and close to the subway. The hotel is simple but comfortable, and the breakfast is modest but adequate. One small issue is that the bottled water in the room was not complimentary and this was not clearly indicated, which was a bit confusing. Overall a good practical option for a short stay in Manhattan."

"The bed in this room was awful with poor quality sheets. It felt worse than a pullout. The room was completely bare with no pictures. The room was extremely loud from the street noise which made it very difficult to sleep. We cut our stay short and although the night before we were told that we could cancel the next night. BUT, when we went to check out, they told us that we had to take it up with Expedia. It was necessary to have an Expedia representative intervene in order to get our room refunded."

"The hotel looked clean. My room was clean. Bed was comfortable. I found the vanity countertop a little small to set things on. There wasn’t any coffee in the lobby when I left in the morning. overall, this is a nice hotel. this is my second time staying there and I would book again."

"Very loud, doors were flimsy, held luggage was left out in the open unattended, toilet wouldn’t flush. Was overall dirty. Definitely won’t be here again."
