Wonderful stay here for 4 nights with husband and daughter. We had a ‘two doubles’ room, which had lovely comfortable beds and little kitchenette with full size fridge. We enjoyed a lovely complimentary breakfast each morning with fruit, pastries, bagels, yogurt and granola. On an evening we went up to the rooftop terrace with a bottle of wine and enjoyed the amazing views and sounds of the city - and the location is excellent, couple blocks from Time square but didn’t feel noisy or busy. Amazing location and facilities. Staff are amazingly pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. Some refreshment of paint and decoration would be an advantage but great place to stay.

Hotel is in a great location Midtown to easily access all the sights by walking and is 5 mins walk to Grand Central station for access to the subway and trains.
Rooms are very clean and well equipped with tea / coffee and fridge facilities.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Well equipped gym with cardio machines and a good selection of dumbbells for weight training.

Cozy hotel, nice styling, great rooftop bar, comfy big bed. Amazing location.
Would stay again.
Very small rooms, so not for all people.
Rooftop bar had different (less) opening hours than advertised.

Nice hotel. Good location for Mid town.
The resort fee is ridiculous & just an extra charge disguised.
Room was nice & the hotel took into account my requests.
Staff very nice.
Breakfast fine

My daughter and I had a trip to New York for our big birthdays, hotel was very central close to port authority, walking distance to time square and many other areas. Hotel staff made our visit special for us and are very helpful , friendly , professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would avoid 9th Avenue at night time as it didn’t feel very safe .

Such a great stay here. Right in midtown Manhattan in the heart of the action but at a really reasonable price. The room was small but immaculate. I requested a higher room with a view and the hotel did exactly that for us - the 21st floor with a beautiful view to wake up to. I would definitely recommend staying at CIVILIAN and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. A special mention goes to James, the manager, who was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
The hotel is also in a great location for Times Square, making it easy to explore the city and all the main attractions.
It was also great to be able to help ourselves to coffee and snacks throughout the day, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated.
Breakfast did get quite busy around 9:00 am, and the food options...

Stones throw from Times Sq so perfect for a four day theatre visit. Had a 44th floor Deluxe King room, facing south, with a partial view of Times Sq. Huge windows made it bright all day, but there are effective blackout blinds at night and there’s virtually no noise. Pretty spacious for one, spotlessly clean, and the fridge for supplies rather than annoying mini bar gets a thumbs up from me. Nice big bathroom with good strong shower pressure, and - miracle of miracles - the aircon is simple to...

It’s not often that I give reviews on the numerous hotels I stay in/have stayed in but I was compelled to write one for this amazing, wonder and fabulous hotel that ticked all the boxes. My wife and I stayed at The Park Terrace Hotel for three nights this weekend just gone. I can honestly say that this is one of the most friendly, pleasant, clean and convenient hotels I have stayed in. The staff were very professional, courteous, welcoming and helpful the moment we stepped in the door. We were...

If I wrote about just how good this hotel is I'd need a lot more characters and you'd think they were paying me.
I've stayed in many hotels, a considerable number having more stars than the Luma, but never have I experienced somewhere I cannot fault in any respect.
The room was equipped with absolutely everything you could need (8 power sockets and 16 usb ports, 4 of each on both sides of the bed?!) it was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom spotless and there was a turndown service...

The hotel itself is clean and centrally located for NYC tourism in Times Sq. the staff are great, breakfast included was a good start to each day and the price we got through Expedia was a bargain. Be warned that there is a migrant shelter directly opposite the hotel which can be intimidating as large groups hang around outside - the hotel have a regular security guard and the NYPD are outside the shelter all the time.

This hotel's location near a major transportation hub offers unparalleled convenience. A charming coffee room provides a relaxing space to unwind. Guests can also enjoy views from the outdoor area. The very comfortable accommodation is great for safety and security. This hotel comes highly recommended for a fab stay.
