Not a bad stay for one night, staff was very friendly. There are lots of options for food which is nice but it is party central where it’s located. Multiple clubs and you can hear the music blasting through the room which was unfortunate but not really their fault. Other than that really nothing to complain about

Great location. Short walk from New Street and Moor Street stations. Close to great restaurants and bars in Hurst St area. Slight annoyance at check-in by being continually asked about a confirmation number when none was in any e-mail or other communication. Still pleasant and checked in little early which was pleasing. Good decor and clean comfy rooms. Breakfast was good although felt short-staffed as all seemed to fall on one guy. Noisy from centre next door at night so sound-proofing could be better.

Arrived told only have 7 parking spaces at property and they were all taken so had to find somewhere else with no alternatives suggested and ending up paying £22. Rooms are a lot smaller than they look on the photos. Beds comfortable but pillows are really thin.

Good location. Didn't really need much from the staff but they were friendly and helpful. Hotel itself is very basic, a bit old fashioned and tatty in places. Perfectly clean though. Car park is not for the feint hearted. If you've anything other than a small car, I'd use one of the other nearby car parks.

The building is in need of air conditioning as it was very hot and stuffy especially in the reception area. However, this was the only criticism as the rooms are exceptionally clean and supplied with tea/coffee, toiletries, big towels and comfy beds. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and are a credit to the company!

Rooms need updating. pillows need replacing. almost non existent. also the room was very very sickly warm with only a little fan to cool down. the windows only opened slightly. felt sick and had no sleep. will not stay again

We had a great stay, the staff were friendly and attentive and one went out of his way to help as I have a feeding tube that got blocked and so I couldn't syringe my medication through it. I needed someone with more strength than I had to push the medication through the syringe and he didn't hesitate to answer my request for help. This was typical of the help and support and willingness to make sure we had a comfortable stay that all the staff had demonstrated during our stay. We will certainly com again, and it was so convenient for eating places and shops.

The property is in good bustling location, which is good. At night security on door checked name & room number bfore letting us in. Great idea. But the name IBIS Birmingham New St Station is misleading. It suggests its proximity is closer to transport hub, not where it actually is, in China town. This could be improved in description & directions from the station ought to be included. We had to ask several people before finding our way. Inculde other landmarks ie Hippodrome theatre would have made finding it easier.

Good hotel - bad security guy at nights
Room was ok . Location was great to explore the gay village . Security was rude , investigate you when you come back at night , didn’t let us bring a friend . Always suspected you sneak in to the hotel .
