Live the high life at these luxury properties
Our original room suffered from Wifi blackout and was not our first choice of room. Spoke to staff and, as I stay there every time I’m in Bangkok, they relocated us to a corner suite that was perfect. Lebua is a perfect hotel with great staff.
The View was amazing and swimming pool very nice. I would recommend this hotel
Excellent staff, everything you'd expect from a 5 star hotel from the land of smiles. Highly recommended
Overall great property in one of the best roads in Bangkok. Easy walking to BTS and shopping. Apartment spacious and well maintained. Would stay here again. Only thing I didn't like was bed was very soft.
Great location right on the river, and very helpful and friendly staff.
Overall a nice place and a good experience. Will return again.
Our stay last week was fantastic and reviewed as such. Back a week later just for one night. Room was not as good, although had stunning views of the river from the 59th floor. Room was missing a kettle (essential for us Brits), which we did have last week. Also the balcony doors had gaps around ...
Great hotel, helpful service and good facilities. Location on the river is great for accessing sights
Excellent peaceful hotel with best breakfast in Bangkok.
Bangkok has become a tale of two cities. Next to the houses teetering on stilts beside the little canals, luxury hotels make their mark. Modern-day Bangkok is filled with luxury hotels and shopping malls to pamper you with the finest service and atmosphere.
In a luxury hotel in Bangkok you can expect rooms with sophisticated designs, original artwork, romantic views, and high quality furnishings. The bathrooms are all modern and most come with a bathtub, his-and-her sinks, robes and impeccable cleanliness. However, what really makes your stay complete at these hotels are the facilities and service. All luxury hotels in Bangkok will have staff attending to the expansive flora and sparkling pools to create an oasis for you to unwind in.
Most luxury hotels have swimming pools, fine-dining restaurants, spas, fitness centres, in- room Wi-fi (generally for a fee), round-the-clock room service and a knowledgeable concierge to help you with any information about the city or day tour planning. Marble bathrooms and sophisticated themes create a prestigious and luxurious feel to the hotel rooms.
The most well-known hotels are scattered along the river, in the Sukhumvit and Silom areas, close to shopping action and entertainment options. If you want the most lavish and famous hotels, try the Oriental Residence and Okura Prestige Hotel near the Chidlom BTS in the city centre. However, if you prefer the cool breezes of the river, stay at the Mandarin Oriental and the Peninsula Bangkok Hotel. Any of these hotels allow you to indulge in the finer things life has to offer. Most five-star hotels on the Chao Phraya River have private boats to shuttle guests so you don’t have to sit on a public boat with the hordes of people. Wet lemongrass-scented towels are offered to guests as you make your way to the hotel onboard the private boats.
For evening entertainment you might want to try the Siam Niramitr Show which tells the story of Thailand's origins, creative culture and beliefs. It is a lavish stage show at 20:00 that features many actors and impressive special effects. Shuttles from your hotel to the show can be arranged through the concierge.
