Live the high life at these luxury properties
Great location! Centrally located to many attractions. Hotel staff are very courteous! Service is GREAT!
Being right on the river is great. It’s less crowded on that side too. Easy access to Skytrain and the new ICONSIAM complex. Rooms are large and well laid out; old style luxury service is very nice too!
Great value for the price. LOVED the beds! The softest sheets and so cozy.
Walking distance to everywhere. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast compare to what I experience from others 5 start hotel its so-so.
Great staff. Great breakfast buffet and evening food options. Nice outdoor pool area. No negatives.
The hotel was great! Exactly what the website showed!
The property's location was excellent, centrally located in the city, closed to everything or within walking distance to public transportation, but the only drawback to this is the service of the hotel personnel during our breakfast. Bangkok has become a tale of two cities. Next to the houses teetering on stilts beside the little canals, luxury hotels make their mark. Modern-day Bangkok is filled with luxury hotels and shopping malls to pamper you with the finest service and atmosphere.
In a luxury hotel in Bangkok you can expect rooms with sophisticated designs, original artwork, romantic views, and high quality furnishings. The bathrooms are all modern and most come with a bathtub, his-and-her sinks, robes and impeccable cleanliness. However, what really makes your stay complete at these hotels are the facilities and service. All luxury hotels in Bangkok will have staff attending to the expansive flora and sparkling pools to create an oasis for you to unwind in.
Most luxury hotels have swimming pools, fine-dining restaurants, spas, fitness centres, in- room Wi-fi (generally for a fee), round-the-clock room service and a knowledgeable concierge to help you with any information about the city or day tour planning. Marble bathrooms and sophisticated themes create a prestigious and luxurious feel to the hotel rooms.
The most well-known hotels are scattered along the river, in the Sukhumvit and Silom areas, close to shopping action and entertainment options. If you want the most lavish and famous hotels, try the Oriental Residence and Okura Prestige Hotel near the Chidlom BTS in the city centre. However, if you prefer the cool breezes of the river, stay at the Mandarin Oriental and the Peninsula Bangkok Hotel. Any of these hotels allow you to indulge in the finer things life has to offer. Most five-star hotels on the Chao Phraya River have private boats to shuttle guests so you don’t have to sit on a public boat with the hordes of people. Wet lemongrass-scented towels are offered to guests as you make your way to the hotel onboard the private boats.
For evening entertainment you might want to try the Siam Niramitr Show which tells the story of Thailand's origins, creative culture and beliefs. It is a lavish stage show at 20:00 that features many actors and impressive special effects. Shuttles from your hotel to the show can be arranged through the concierge.
