Bangkok is home to over 200 excellent four-star hotels that surpass all expectations of hospitality and comfort. A world away from the excitement of Bangkok’s busiest streets, these hotels offer an unprecedented level of comfort, luxury and tranquillity at very reasonable rates, and often offer tempting packages.
On average, Bangkok’s major four-star hotels still maintain rates below SG$200 per night, allowing more budget conscious travellers the opportunity to experience a bit of indulgence. The majority of these hotels lie around the Sukhumvit area, a bustling district near the Siam Paragon and Terminal 21 malls and the Pratunam Market. There you’ll find fantastic opportunities for shopping, eating, and going out. The area is serviced by the Sky Train, making access to other parts of Bangkok and to the airport quite stress-free. However, if you prefer to be driven, most hotels of this class offer a discount taxi service.
The major appeal of four-star hotels in Bangkok is the facilities available to guests. Outdoor pools with landscaping, workout rooms and gyms, massage rooms and spas are just some amenities that visitors can look forward to. The Leisure Bangkok hotel also houses a salon, and offers traditional Thai and Balinese massage therapy. Rooms at these hotels are also super comfortable, often decorated in Thai style and come with Wi-fi and other electronic devices. Many hotels also offer suites.
Fine dining can also be anticipated at most of these hotels, with onsite restaurants that regularly employ highly trained chefs. RimSuan Restaurant, by Centre Point Hotel in Sukhumvit, specialises in adding a modern twist to traditional Thai dishes. The Amara Bangkok Hotel in the Silom district is home to Element, an upscale Singaporean restaurant. Siam@Siam Design Hotel, in Patumwan, has five themed restaurants, ranging from sushi to Mediterranean to family friendly.
Typical services at four-star hotels in Bangkok include day care, laundry, daily housekeeping and 24-hour room service. Conference and banquet halls are also available with package deals on offer for weddings and other events. Airport pick-up and drop-off is standard and hassle-free.
For a truly luxurious stay at a much more reasonable price than in many other tourist destinations, consider choosing a four-star hotel in Bangkok.
