Our second visit to the Carlton following a lovely visit last year. Second visit didn’t disappoint. Staff friendly, attentive and responsive- great place to stay in the heart of Bangkok.

I love everything about this hotel. I love the breakfast buffet, the swimming pool, the cleanliness, the friendliness, the location of the hotel, and above all, the sense of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of the city life. Bangkok can be overwhelming and too hot.

After 20 hrs of travel Bangkok Carlton allowed us to decompress and take advantage of a bustling metropolitan city. Lots of traffic though, so if you have a date allow for extra time to arrive.

The hotel staff are amazing especially the lovely and bubbly Dear on Reception, all the men on concierge services and Nicha and Wawa in the Executive Club Lounge. The room was nice but toiletries in the bathroom was very scarce. For 2 people we had one small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and body wash which is not enough if you shower twice per day. There was no breakfast in the executive lounge like other hotels. I also did not like the limit of alcohol served between 6 and 8pm. Never had this in an Executive Lounge. We went up during the day and there was no snacks apart from breadsticks, nuts and fruits. A small selection would have been nice or some afternoon cakes. Also think the lounge should shut at 9pm as 8pm too early. Traffic is a nightmare on this street and from my room even though on 32nd floor I could hear the MRT. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly and breakfast was good.

The property is clean, modern, and the room is spacious. My partner and I had one of the best sleeps at the Carlton as the bed was so comfy and the temperature of the room was perfect. The service of the staff were exceptional and so attentive. The facilitaties of the pool area, sauna, steamroom, and the hym were great The location of property was also very convenient. It's located right by the major malls, restaurant, bars, and clinics. We particularly enjoyed the delicious food stalls (which many were awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand)at the Emsphere food market). The property is also easily accessible to the metro as it's right by the property which makes it easy to get around the city. My partner and I felt right at home during our stay for the week at Carlton. Highly recommend, and we hope to revisit during our next visit to Bangkok.

It was close to the mrt and bts, some restaurants and bars. The room was a good size with a great view. The hotel has a good pool, rooftop bar and service.
