The day we were to arrive we got a message from the hotel to say that they were undergoing renovations and they would refund us for our breakfast charges and give us a free to-go breakfast one day. Annoying as we have a very picky eater and the buffet is a main reason we booked Premier Inn. When we arrived it took the counter staff ages to check us in as apparently there was something confusing about the booking in the system. She was very nice though. So...

"La chambre était très confortable. Le seul bémol était la clim, qui était bruyant au point de préférer de supporter la chaleur plutôt que le bruit épouvantable de l'appareil. Le fait d'ouvrir la fenêtre n'était pas mieux, car on avait tout le mécanisme de la clim juste à côté. Sinon, très bon hôtel avec un bon rapport qualité prix. "Exactly as one would expect -no frills but adequate. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Service excellent. Rooms could do with upgrading as could cleanliness. Worth the money if you’re looking for a quick one night stay. Parking and charging fine. Tesco across the street a bonus."
