“Small, but clean and very central for shopping”

“Great Location, half a block from Macy's!”

This is our third time in New York and this hotel has been great.It is not a large hotel but has large comfortable rooms, very clean and tidy with complementary breakfast to start the day. All staff were friendly and helpful. We will use this hotel again as location was convenient for shopping, broadway shows and sightseeing.

This was a very good hotel within easy walking distance of Times Square, The Empire State Building, Madison Square Gardens and the Rockefeller Centre. clean hotel with good facilities, VERY comfortable with very helpful staff. The complimentary breakfasts were excellent as well, although the breakfast room did get a bit crowded.

“Impressive small hotel”

I travelled with my 2 sons and we shared a 2 x double bed room. Adequate space-the boys shared and I had the luxury of a bed to myself! Access to the 2 computers and free wi-fi was especially appealing to the boys.I also was able to print out my return plane boarding tickets. Complimentary breakfast good - enjoyed the waffle making. All self service,good range. Staff friendly.Location good (around the corner from Penn /Madison Sq Garden.

“A little gem!”

Fabulous little hotel with spacious rooms, great bathroom with lovely hot shower. Added bonus of breakfast too! Our first stay in New York (5 nights) and this place was right in the heart of everything - near to the subway and around the corner from Macy's. Our room was at the front of hotel and there was no noise from the street during the night. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

“very impressed -good value for money”

We really liked this hotel. It is extremely well placed with many attractions well within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good indeed with a waffle maker, bacon and eggs and as much coffee as you could drink. The room was well proportioned with a king sized bed, a good bathroom and was extremely comfortable. We would certianly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel,fantastic location (2 min macys,10 min times sq,5 min emipire state) stayed at wingate 21st/28th of nov with my wife and our 3 teenage kids and had a fab time. p.s. kids loved the breakfast

Great place to stay, lovely staff, good location for getting about. Didn't have a meal in restaurant so can't comment on that. Will book again if in New York.

“Wonderful Wingate”

Great hotel, great location near to many tourist attractions, around the corner from Macys. My only criticism would be some of the staff were not very knowledgeable. Excellent room and breakfast was lovely. Will definitely use again.
