"Great relaxed property"

"The food was good. Room was nice with a jetted tub. Property was nice and well kept. The beach and water had a lot of seaweed but they cleared it each morning off the beach. Didn’t feel like going in the water though, which was disappointing. Used the pool instead and it was nice. It was too far to walk anywhere off the resort by road. "

"Upon arrival the young lady that helped us was good. Persons going should speak Spanish. The resort lovely however the staff need to speak English a little better. To accommodate everyone. Myself and husband was sick the moment we walked in the room. There was a strong odour of mildew or mold. The nights were long we coughed every night. When we were out and about it was ok. The moment we went to bed. Coughing up heavy mucus! Now because of the language barrier we could not readily explain what we were feeling. I took pics of what I saw. When I got back home from my vacation my daughter said “why do you guys smell like mold. I didn’t tell her about it, but she could smell it. All my clothes needs to be washed. I also had a do not disturb sign on my door, how is it that twice the door was barely knocked and we were walked in on. The bed is located directly in front of the door. Just imagine what embarrassing scene that could be! No extra safety bolt. Beautiful place, beautiful beach, the hustlers on the beach disgusting no peace. Also the guys driving on the go-cart, they are time share sellers, annoying and they lie to get you to go to a presentation. BE AWARE! We went on an excursion to the countryside the local culture to see how coffee/cocoa is grown and made. I truly enjoyed that. The tour guide angel and Felix the driver from “Bavaro Runners Safari”was great!😊 overall experience just ok."

"Beautiful resort! Food was horrible. My husband and I got sick. I would ask for just hot water and they gave me brown hot water a couple of times. Buffet style food was limited in options and flies were all on the food. Not many options for food especially if you have dietary restrictions. Pool and beach was nice. Bring your own washcloth as they don’t really provide those. But I don’t recommend"

"The units are not recently renovated or upgraded as they report. Rooms were not clean. If you book through any site other than the resort the staff is not helpful. Food was awful. Staff was not attentive. I would not recommend unless your a high school or college student or on a very tight budget."

"We found that there were staff members super nice with excellent customer service but there were others that treated everyone like they didn’t really wanted to be there at all. There’s very little explanation about what type of activities you can find and how to book a restaurant reservation. We were able to eat at a teppanyaki restaurant that didn’t have AC, it came to a point where it felt really hot. Besides these things, I think is a good place to stay."

"The property it self was very nice and clean. The night entertainment was very nice. Kids club was horrible. We have been to other princess resorts and this one is in the lower end. My wife had food poisoning on the second day there from eating at the snack bar. There was no stuff by the pools or beach you had to go get your drinks yourself and don’t waste your time at the restaurant the buffet was much better. It wasn’t the worst all inclusive resort we been too and definitely not the best. Will not be but. "
