"Resort is beautiful but they truly have a lot to work on before ever making it a 4-5 star hotel- get better staff and fumagate the entire resort as there were roaches everywhere, no matter which building you were in!!! A few things that did not go well: -told our room would be ready by 3pm but we did not have a room ready until close to 5pm and probably would’ve been later if my husband didn’t check on it. -service from the male staff is absolutely atrocious, especially from the manager at the Atlantico buffet and waiting staff at the Mexican restaurant. The female staff were great and helpful. But the males were so incredibly rude to my family and myself throughout the resort. -I found several roaches in my room. My family found them in their room and the drawers. They are the smaller, easily missed ones but multiple quickly, so make sure to check all of your stuff before leaving! -kids waterpark was good but the baby/toddler section is a MAJOR HAZARD as the floor is lifting up everywhere in this section. I saw several kids fall and hurt themselves when playing there. -Food and drinks are mediocre. It was really hard to find food that was actually decent here. Currently going through food poisoning from something eaten at the resort. The only place that had decent food was the buffet, Italian, and Asian restaurant but selective. All the drinks had a weird aftertaste and only Lobby Bar was actually good. Advice: SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!"

"My visit 3 years ago was much nicer than this year. No more flamencos, trash and plastic water bottles in the lagoons and around property, and very little food in the bins for the birds. Although the beach was still as beautiful, the resort itself was not as pleasant. The food quality was below average but the staff were all extremely kind and accommodating, although it appeared there were much less employees."
