"One of the best resort I have visited by far. The ambiance Organization and intentionality displayed in everything at the resort stands it apart. Nothing was left to chance the staff understands client satisfaction and delivers top notch services always. The front desk, cart drivers and other staff were all friendly and ever willing to help. The restaurants deliver a whole range of satisfying meals that making a choice becomes difficult the buffet was fantastic. The Cocotal golf course was impressive and I had fun playing its very generous fairways while enjoying the discounts associated for staying at Melia. We totally enjoyed our stay and looking forward to a return very soon."

"Le di una nueva oportunidad a este resort ya que el pasado año también estuvimos en el. Pero definitivamente no regresaría, a pesar de q la instalación es grande y tiene atracciones para niños y se pasa bien ya es hora de que reacondicionar el hotel porque las instalaciones están muy desgastadas y se ven viejas. Hay un olor a fosa en todo el hotel horrible ese hotel necesita urgentemente un buen mantenimiento general desde habitaciones, bufet, piscinas. El agua de las habitaciones huele horrible. Y la comida este año estuvo pésimo no había variedad y no estaba muy bien elaborada parecía un comedor obrero. Y la mayoría de los trabajadores deberían ser un poco más atentos con los clientes pq es así como a uno de landeseos de dar propinas según la atención recibida. Hubo días en q nadie se acercaba a ofrecer algo de beber en el bufet. El hotel tiene mucho potencial en estructura pero ya esta muy deteriorado."

"Nos encantó la propiedad, el servicio, la comida, la atención por parte de todo el personal en el hotel fue excelente. La habitación limpia, las áreas comunes siempre limpias. Los restaurantes brutales, la comida riquísima! Lo recomiendo al 100%. Volveremos!"

"The resort is too spread out walking forever to getr a coffee or ice cream would be an issue for many travelers. The staff was the spectrum from rude and stand offish to the other extreme to vey friendly and nice definetly not as warm as the staff in mexico but I knew that prior to going. The room AC is very cold and you cannot adjust it was an issue as well. If you do not go uniques as we did good luck getting into any of the specialty restaurants. Of all the specialty restauranys El Charro was definetly the best the French had rude staff so that was a big disappointment.Mareas was noisy and the lobster was a poor quality. Asador the steak house was fine and so was the unique club restaurant the staff was good as well. the unique beach was nice with great water but the issue on the weekend was the boats docked offshore blasting music all day ruined the atmosphere. Entertainment was one key reason we chose this resort and it fell flat on it's face!! We have been to 24 other resorts in Mexico and the caribbean and know what to expect low quality entertainment is the standard. However here the entertainment was repetitive and boring nothing to do in the afternoon especially on rainy days which we had a couple of only thing to do is drink or sit in your room boring!!!. the buffet did offer the best variety but should better identify what the food is especially for people with food allergies. This was our first and last trip to the DR it's not for us and definetely not worth "
