"We wasted 2 days of our vacation: first night was in bldg 41, in horrible conditions: no AC until midnight, then with the extreme noise, old, dirty furniture, disgusting bathroom, grey towels. We showed the cockroach to the staff next morning and they promised to change it. We spent all day until 6 pm without the room. In the bldg 51, the room was ok. Staff was good. Beach area very nice "

"Great experience all around. Beautiful pools , plants and great restaurants. Beach was great with plenty of things to do. Great entertainment every night along with pool parties and DJ during the day. Minimal kids staying while we were here . If your thinking of staying at secrets next door it is very big and open and for a much older crowd. People 65 plus sleeping and snoring by the pool without the music and pool fun atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone 18 to 55 years old who like to have fun and interact with others. "

"We booked 3 rooms. One for our 2 sons (16 & 19), one for our daughters (14, 16 & 18), and one for us. Me and my husbands room smelled so bad of sewage, i could not sleep. We complained and they changed us to a much better room. The air conditioner was broken but they did try to fix it right away. When they couldn't, they offered another room. We didn't want to change again so we asked for a fan. They gave us a really nice, powerful fan that did the trick. The shower smelt of sulfer strong. Our kids rooms were fine. Our sons rooms air conditioner was leaking so much water but they fixed it. Also they had a shower room seperate from their toilet room. The toilet area smelled fine but their showet room had an awful smell. The food was good for some of us, not so good for others. Some had stomach issues during our stay. The staff was absolutely amazing! They were the best part to be honest. They try hard to keep you happy, they're pleasant & helpful. The resort itself was nice, they close the pools at 8 pm though so that kind of sucked. Plus they cut off drinks and snacks, etc. By 1 am. Nightly entertainment was good! The beach was also good! The only complaint being how much they hussle you there. Its annoying. You basically need to go with a roll of bills to be comfortable. Prices are outrageous, people there are always trying to get you to buy something. The excursions are amazing but sometimes cut short, and the drive is nerve wracking! "
