Very clean and modern. Did not like the food at all. Buffet or restaurants did not have gloves or hand sanitizer. The main pool was kind of dirty as well as some of the pool towels. Did not feel safe to leave the property. Some staff were great. Maybe if you book Platinum it’s a better experience.

Beautiful property grounds. Family part of the resort was very convenient to restaurants and nightly entertainment. Walk to the beach took 10 minutes, but the tram ran frequently. Food was lacking.

Our 3 little kids became infected with hand-foot-and-mouth disease days after arriving to the resort which they presumably caught at the kids' club or water slides. It seems that this has been a recurring problem in resorts in the area. To add insult to injury, I was also left with $398 USD laundry fee after doing a single batch of kids' laundry. Of course, the laundry price list shows costs in "$" and you have to guess that it means US$ and not RD$. Pretty sure this is intentionnally a SCAM. The beach and the people of the Dominican Republic are otherwise beautiful.

Staff were not attentive with requests/needs when asked for things (i.e. drinks or hotel room needs). Poor staffing as it was hard to find anybody to cater to needs or set tables. Food options were fair but not great. Alcoholic drinks were all local and nothing worth drinking as they all gave you headaches or made you feel sick. Any juices used for making drinks/caesars were watered down and had little to no taste. Overall experience was fair but not impressive for being rated as a 4-5 star resort.
