"My group found the Lexen to be a great place to stay if you are going to the Hollywood Bowl. It is so much easier to walk there as opposed to dealing with parking or an Uber. It's a 15 minute walk, slightly uphill for those who have issues, but for most anybody it would be easy. The hotel itself is unusual in that there is just a desk someone sits at to check you in; it's very sparse but it did the trick. Our room and bathroom were a good size and clean, the king bed was comfortable, and the AC worked great. There was a small lobby on the second floor to gather if needed. Parking can be an issue because it's stacked; we had no problem but there's a possibility someone could park behind you and if they aren't considerate you may get stuck, but the hotel tries to deal with as best they can. There is nowhere to eat within a 10 minute walk, but after that there are hundreds of cheap and expensive places to dine. We will definitely stay there again."

"We weren't informed about the destination fee perks at check in . We paid for multiple activities that were included in the destination fee that the attendant didn't inform us of at check in . We were very disappointed at check out when we learned of the activities that were included that we paid out of pocket for due to lack of communication. "

"The Godfrey was super nice for a quick trip to LA. The staff was super hospitable and the facilities was clean and current. The beds swallowed me up and the showers had the right temperature and right pressure. The rooms a little small but had spots for all of my belongings. Also I loved how prompt valet was, when we called the car was ready before us. I would definitely come back. The Cons: you definitely can hear the music from the rooftop and the bottom floor, but I was so tired I couldn’t care less. This is a lively area so you will hear everything from the street. The food and drinks were a little pricey and need a little help. My calamari was overcooked, and the lobster rolls were a little dry, and needed a little more seasoning. Breakfast was basic but I feel like you could get better from somewhere in the area. The drinks are $20 each but again when you are on Vacation who cares. I definitely would come back, I would just dine Elsewhere. "

"The staff is incredible. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable, especially the 2 women running the breakfast. Super convenient location, within walking distance to Hollywood Bowl and the Walk of Fame. Street noise was a little loud at night but that’s a small price to pay for being so close to everything. "

"Love that the parking is tucked behind. Felt safe. Staff was friendly especially the lovely cleaning team who always seemed to be going above and beyond. Hotel rooms are dated.. carpet etc but CLEAN. Water pressure, toilet, sink, ac/heat, tv all worked well. Walking distance to Hollywood bowl or walk of fame. Electric scooters or e-bikes close. Easy to get Uber etc. Excellent freeway access. Can be in downtown Hollywood or to Burbank airport in less than 20min. Mexican restaurant on site. Was pricey for what you get but tasty. You can’t bill the food to your room fyi- they are separate from the hotel. They open at 7am and close at 9pm If you’re checking in early… yes you can drop your bags but there is no waiting area or bathroom. Pool and hot tub on site with locked gate to keep those who aren’t guests out. We didn’t use but looked clean and had towels. A homeless gentleman seemed to frequent the area of the pool once it got dark but the pool closes at 9pm so was always empty and he wasn’t bothering anyone or being disruptive. Area felt safe enough considering some of the other areas and was convenient price was fair what you get. I would stay here again :) "
