Nice lobby with a good vibe. Rooms are basic but nice enough. Ours had an amazing view of Hollywood and the Hollywood sign! Friendly service at check in. Only one of the elevators was working during our stay, and room service times were limited. We stayed here because we were seeing a show nearby, and it’s fine if you need to be in the immediate area, otherwise there are nicer parts of town.

My teenage boys and I stayed for 3 nights. We enjoyed the lobby area that’s setup like a lounge. It has a pool table and a lot of seating area. It gave us a very homey vibe. A unique setup different from a conventional hotel. The modern industrial design is also very appealing. The front desk person upgraded us to a suite, giving us a roomier space to move around, a soak-in tub and a view of the Hollywood sign. We were very comfortable in the room we stayed in. The entire facility is clean and the surrounding areas are safe. The only thing I wish was available was a spa. It would have been nice to get a soothing massage. But my son and I were able to use the gym. The location is not a short walk to the center of Hollywood fun, that is by the Dolby Theater, Chinese Theater and Hollywood Highland. But I specifically chose a hotel far from the crowd. We were able to get some exercise walking to and from the hotel. There are other perks and amenities I wasn’t able to avail. They offer free glass of wine, there’s a happy hour at the lobby and another event going on by the pool area. Amazing experience!

This is my second time staying at this property and I would definately come back. It is clean and safe. Newer amenities and happy hour. Walking distance to the Pantages theater and Hollywood walk of fame. The staff was very helpful. The valet parking is fast.

Everything, from the time of our arrival to our departure we enjoyed our time at the Kimpton Everly. We appreciated their accommodating an early check-in. The room was beautiful, clean, and a great view of the city and most important the rooftop pool. We had a pool day, ordered delicious from JaneQ and had a fabulous time. We decided to stay at the Everly for dinner too, and JaneQ's pizza, pasta, and dessert was yummy. Bonus was the jazz and on point drinks at the bar during the evening. The entire stay was amazing, thank you. Side note, the area is to be expected of any big city, homeless, dirty, etc., but Hollywood Blvd was just 2 blocks away, Pantages Theatre is walking distance. Also, you can have city view or the Hollywood sign view.

Our stay was just ok. We got put in a room on the fifth floor which isn’t even listed in their elevator as a floor for guests. There was a noisy live party right outside our room until 9pm that they failed to tell us about during check in. They also kept running out of cups and or lids in their coffee station. Breakfast was excellent tho and we enjoyed the pool so it was overall an ok location. Perhaps if we had a better room the rating would have been better

The service was great but the hotel itself needs some updating and carpet cleaned. Lobby is nice but rooms are dingy and dirty. Pool area is dirty - especially towards the end of the day. Hotel restaurant looked good but didn’t try. Went to Jemma which wasn’t good. Very touristy. Touristy area. Close to Griffith’s Observatory which is nice for a run.

My reason for the stay was a little odd -- my dog freaked out about the fireworks in my neighborhood. The Kimpton Everly is dog friendly (what they are known for) and this was listed as soundproof. My room was over the 101 and I will hand it to them -- it was quiet (though not silent) and no fireworks. The hotel is very nice. So a success. The surrounding neighborhood is a little rough which made dog walks a bit odd but it was fine. A bit of a hike to dining but overall great
