I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Location - very accessible, short walking distance to Universal Studios shuttle terminal. Room - very spacious and clean. Lobby - modern decoration, spacious and cozy. Staff - superb, very friendly and professional. The Sunset is a beautiful Art Deco hotel, with efficient and courteous staff, and a lovely restaurant. On arrival, there was apparently a problem with the room we were booked into, so we had a drink in the Terrace Bar while we waited to see if they could fix it. We had a five night stay in Hotel Wilshire. Check in and out and valet parking were smooth and efficient. We stayed in the Mullholland Suite which has 2 queen beds and a separate lounge with a pullout double sofa bed. We were 5 people including a pair of teen twins, a 9 year old and a couple.
