Our host was absolutely lovely - the service at this hotel is above and beyond. the downsides of the hotel were the lack of easy access to town and the extreme costs of food. There is no guacamole on the earth worth what they charge for at this hotel. The pricing of the food is exorbitant and was disappointing. The hotel itself was a bit low energy and could have benefited from music (even something relaxing) at the pool. Again, I’m glad to have stayed here once however I prefer opportunities to explore the culture of Mexico which this didn’t necessarily easily allow. I likely wouldn’t stay here again in the near future."
