There is a 3rd floor seating area with hammocks and high tables, perfect to watch the sunset or relax in the shade overlooking the pool. "This is a lovely property & the room was extra large, clean & very comfortable. The owner is lovely & didn’t blink an eye when we arrived several hrs before the official check-in. The one drawback is that it’s a little out of the way from the center but if you have a car, no problem! Would highly recommend staying here!"

"The hotel staff was really nice and friendly for the most part. The only thing I would have to say is that the room didn't have a TV. Also the dog's parking at night was not a good thing. Very clean and spacious. Restaurants food was good for the price of the room . Access to everything within a few Km/ miles. I would definitely come back and stay here."

"We loved staying at Casa al Mar! We were in an ocean-view suite. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the Malecon. Not the quietest room as it's right above the hustle and bustle of La Paz's main drag, but super-fun in a perfect location to take in all that La Paz has to offer. The lobby and courtyard are so warm, relaxing, and welcoming, and the staff is great. Highly recommend! "

"The hotel is conveniently located on the main road of La Paz. We had a room facing the street overlooking the Malecon and ocean which was lovely. The parking was super easy. You drive into the small lot and an attendant drives it to a secured parking area. Check in was a breeze and the front desk clerk was very nice. There is a restaurant right beside it and a convenience store on the next block. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to others. "
