"Went w/my husband .The room was super clean.the room we got was oceanfront, on the 9th floor, one word to describe it , BREATHTAKING! it was just a beautiful sight to be able to see the ocean right outside our balcony. All the staff are so welcoming, smiled, shout out to Andres & Nay from the italian restaurant who helped celebrate my husband's bday. Shout out to Mauricio at the buffet for dinner, very attentive, and Giovanni from the taco area he was also very friendly. The food was always fresh, whether at breakfast,lunch or dinner. Drinks were strong here & there, i loved the Piña colada & mojitos! They're night entertainment was great, we went to the riu neon party,bus would take you to riu caribe & back(adults only), it was a lot of fun, they also had silent dj night at the ventura theater, family friendly & entertaining, another night it was like circus de soleil Riu style, performers showed their wonderful talented skills. Check their website so you know what to wear as they got theme riu parties(for adults), like white party and jungle party.The beach area was clean, as much as they could because there was seaweed. Lounge chairs & umbrellas were in good condition,pools were clean, water temperature was good & towels accessible & clean.they also have entertainment by the beach/ pool for those looking to do something. We played football & volleyball.Overall we enjoyed & loved Ventura, we will highly recommend to friends and family. Cant wait to go back!"

"Staff was nice. Food was decent, the aguas frescas at the buffet were the best! They have plenty of pools where they are not crowded. They have good restaurant options and experiences. Entertainment was good, something to do every night. The only bad thing is that they have timeshare sellers, they are not pushy but awkward. "

"The property is nice but it’s not on the beach, there is beach access. There’s only beer in the room mini bar. To have a bottle of alcohol is a ridiculous charge. No chicken parm or fettuccine Alfredo in the Italian restaurant? The $200 room credit is divided in to 5 $40 off coupons that can only be used in the spa ($40 off a 50 minute massage that costs $200 isn’t much of a saving) or of a special roof top dinner. I couldn’t use it towards my fishing trip or my over priced bottle of vodka for the room. Those things could all be paid for if we agreed to tour another property for a vacation club membership, which they pitched right after check in. (No thanks been there done that). The fire pits and pool side beds are a hefty rental charge $500 to light the fire pits. The vantage club is a worthwhile upgrade. Access to the roof top pool and breakfast restaurant is a plus and the staff is friendly and great. This resort is good value for the price but don’t expect the same amenities as other resorts that are a little more expensive. If we choose to go back we will have better expectations. "

"El lugar tiene lo suficiente para quien busca una experiencia familiar amena por primera vez. Aunque si lo comparamos con otro Resort....quizas falta un poco mas de actividades y por tener las dimensiones que tiene quizas no se siente mucho el cambio/vibra de lugar a lugar. La logística del buffet por la noche. honestamente Mala!!! Nunca habia estado en un lugar(todo incluido) donde la comida(pocas opciones) se acabara y tener que esperar 30 mins o mas, en 2 ocasiones. Pero insisto aun con esto ultimo, si la experiencia es 1ra. vez el lugar cuenta con lo necesario!"

"This was my 3rd time visiting this resort and although the experience has not been negative it didn't wow us either. They got rid of their rodizio the week that we stayed and it was disappointing that they kept advertising but was not available till further notice. "

"En promedio casi todo estuvo “okey” lo que totalmente nos decepcionó fue que saben cómo ocultar la parte en la que es All inclusive, yo compro el paquete que incluí absolutamente todo, pero al llegar a la propiedad decían que no estaba incluido food and drinks! Me pareció un robo total, y no solo nos pasó a nosotros si no también a otros huéspedes. Bajo la descripción del anuncio está all inclusive, pero en realidad no lo está! Un robo!"
