This is false advertising, this is NOT adults only! There were many families staying in the resort. If I wanted a family resort I would not have chosen Sandos. The restaurants are practilly empty but yet they dont have reservations for day and they refuse walk ins. Seasons was the worst, from the food to the lack of a/c. The hotel does not a lot to offer as far as fun activities. I would never stay here again false advertising. Not adults only!

All staff we encountered throughout the resort are very friendly and helpful. The sandos could use some repairs in rooms and in the pool area. The buffet could use more options at all 3 meal times. A mixed drink menu for room service would be nice. The property could use a coffee shop or more coffee options. This is a smaller resort but it is nice.

Hotel was fine, but the food was sub par. Very hard to get access to pool and beach seats, as well as reservations to the restaurants. You are better off eating at the buffet anyway. Staff is very friendly and nice, and the location of the hotel is good. Rooms are a bit old but clean. Not the best, but definitely a good value. Hotel met my expectations.

Sandos was a clean and quiet property. The pools were all kept nicely and the beach access was easy. The food was fantastic. Even the buffet! Everything was fresh and options changed daily which was nice. I would recommend adding guacamole to your breakfast buffet! We were confused why it wasn't a staple in Mexio, but it would have been nice to have. We did ask once but was told it wasn't available. The bars were all clean and efficient. The spa was wonderful. I high recommend the hydro therapy. Go see Abraham!! He is absolutely wonderful! So attentive, helpful, and just great at his job. We were very disappointed that you had to pay just to use the sauna or hot tub though. I've never stayed at a place that does this. There is also a tiny little waterfall pool right outside of the spa but they won't let you in that either unless you pay for a service. Check in was slow, not enough people working but it was ok. We did pay for the upgraded room to a suite which was so spacious and nice. Bed was super comfy abd it was very clean. We were annoyed that to see the ocean you had to be standing up againt the railing. You couldn't sit on the chairs and enjoy the view. We were told that this was because we booked through expedia and not directly through them, the view from our balcony was not what we were hoping for. Room service was good, cleaning staff was great, bar and restaurant staff were all great. Over all would recommend.

Do not recommend. WORST part was wasting half a day being given a Royal Elite presentation by the hotel and being told the reason we couldn’t get reservations at the onsite restaurants (not even 1 of the 4 nights there) was bc the Royal Elite members who paid $12k were priority. Most of our meals were of super limited selection room service because the buffet is also terrible and only offers 1-2 options. Waited extra 30 minutes at check in for master caribe suite I paid full price for to be ready. Once in, the room hadn’t been cleaned, beds were made with dirty stained sheets (have photos), trash under counter was overflowing with pee filled diapers. Told staff and it was taken as no big deal, just wait another two hours for your room. No hot water in the three streams that would come out of master shower, asked for two days and was never fixed. To refill mini bar/coffee you’ll need to call 5x and wait 3-4 hours. There’s no secondary lock on the door from the inside. WiFi drops soon as you step onto the balcony. The bar, pool, housekeeping staff are great but concierge and front desk are terrible. Sent son to front desk to get change so we could tip and she gave him $12 worth of pesos for a $20 bill. Nothing on the property has been fixed or updated in at least 20 years. The private beach is great, but there’s nothing else within walking distance. Have never been so disappointed in an all-inclusive resort and will never take the risk of booking at another Sandos property.

Smaller resort in a prime location. The building is luxurious but showing its age. It might have seen better days (which is true about other resorts in the area, btw) but it still has plenty to offer. Staff goes out of their way to accommodate the guests. Pretty cool entertainment, food is fine, though fruit and juices options are limited. They have three restaurants in the building (Seasons, Frattini's (italian), and Gaigin (hibachi)), a buffet Zango and couple of bars. Closer to the beach they also have stand alone St. Trop restaurant. All with a great view of the ocean, although food choice expectations should be adjusted in-line with hotel's lower price point for its class. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.

The resort overall was cool but it was the lackings for me. My room was nice but had some problems with stains on the lamp shade and hard closing the balcony door. There aren't a lot of seats at the pool. More cabanas which are shared with a timeshare. The food wasn't the best but edible. It was nice but improvements can be made.

The food was not great. I am a Muslim so was limited to the food that they offered, almost everything had pork in it. The buffet was a disappointment. The room we stayed in was okay. The bed we slept was 2 queen beds pushed up against each other and the mattress was uncomfortable. Overall I would rate this location a 6.5 out of 10. Not luxury for the amount you pay.
