All the staff were really pleasant and helpful. Central heating very noisy as was the fridge freezer. The young lady serving breakfast (whose name I think was Tyrone) was exceptional) was definitely up for praise she was fantastic. Would stay there again next time I’m in the area

Best hotel I have stayed at in New York from the staff to the gym to the small details they really go above and beyond. It’s pricy but you really are getting a luxury modern experience.

Returned to the Peninsula after a few years' hiatus (I had an issue last time). It is an excellent place to stay if you want to be in upper Midtown. The prices can be quite punchy, but the restaurant and bar are not as mind-boggling as some, and you are getting a top notch product. The staff were friendly and helpful, and in the main not as overbearingly stuffy or as synthetically gushing as you sometimes find in similar hotels. It has a great location (5th/55th) so very handy for MoMA,...

Lovely views from our room. Great check in staff that upgraded us to the top floor and added complimentary wifi - great welcome! Hotel was lovely only criticism is that it was so expensive to eat there.

Without doubt, the best thing about the Montauk Blue is the location on the beach. To hear the waves crashing, sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and having such easy access to the beach was just amazing.
The property itself is very dated, while the rooms are comfortable and clean, there were a few things that let it down. Firstly, no glasses to drink out of, no forks yet there was two knives, the shower was difficult to work and I felt I wasted a lot of water trying to get the water...
