"Great stay, friendly staff, clean hotel. Close to transportation and/or easy to get taxi or Uber. Many shops and food options nearby. Takes a bit in traffic to get to the action of London during busy times but if you’re looking to get to a nicer and quieter area it’s perfect. "

"We stayed in a Heritage suite which was roomy and clean. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Tube and the area felt very safe. It is a little shabby but it was cheap and chearful."

"I'm 6 ft and about 220 lbs. so probably nearly max size of a person for this hotel's bathrooms. Second time to stay here and both stays were good. You don't go to London to stay in your room. Tube and rail are 3 blocks away with eating close by. Always felt safe and area has plenty of street lights. Will stay again."

"Room rather dark, small window, but the beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast and the two restaurants were good and welcome. We were here on business."

"The location is excellent. This hotel is 140 years old, it’s beautiful. The rooms the bed and ambiance is amazing. The only drawback is the bar music can be heard through the floor. ( rooms 140-142 )"
