Exactly what I expected for the price - decent. For one night it was good. It was very very hot on the day so being in a windowless hotel with no fan wasn’t great, but I knew what I was getting so can’t really complain. It’s probably worth paying a bit more for a room with a window but depends on what you want.

Very rude person on reception made me feel very uncomfortable demaning passport or driving licence id to book in. I dont recall this being mentioned on the booking and as far as i know not a legal requirement in the UK. I dont drive and a uk citizen so did not have a passport. Was able to show my bus pass after lots of discussion but had to fill out an additional form. Spoilt start of stay. Please add requirement booking confirmation. Otherwise stay was good Spoilt

This hotel has an excellent gem of a restaurant inside, called Jennys, at dinner there is a huge buffet feast with excellent meats, salads, desserts.

Aircon didn't really work in the room and it was a hot evening. The images on Expedia are old and I don't think the hotel actually has a pool. Area is fine and the staff are friendly though.

This property is in a decent area, but it is in desperate need of a makeover. For the price I'd expect more. Wifi in the room isn't free (similar lower priced properties include room wifi and don't charge £7/day). The rooms are a decent size, but when I rolled my case into the room, the carpet came with me. The furnishings in the room are well last their used by date and the aircon doesn't keep the room cool enough. However, cannot fault the location. Close to the O2, all the train lines and Canary Wharf, which if fabulous. I'd stay again because of the location, not the property itself.

Although I was aware of it prior to arrival, our room did not have a window, which we found quite depressing and it made the room feel very claustrophobic despite it being quite large in size. The double bed was actually two single beds put together of which the springs inside the bed could be felt and made our 2 nights fairly uncomfortable. For a four star hotel, myself and my partner were not fully satisfied with the comfort that our room provided. Finally, every time we got in the bath, it made a large squeaking sound and it felt like the bath was going to fall through the floor.

We stayed in a windowless room (as advertised) which would have been fine if the room was properly cooled. It was very hot and the Aircon did not cool the room at all, it just blasted warm air that smelt of cigarette smoke. The room was listed as a double but we were given a twin with a gap between the beds. It was a cheap room for after a night watching a show at the O2, but we slept terribly because of the heat. Would not recommend in summer (even a mild one). It was one tube stop, and a short walk to the O2 however so at least it was convenient. Maybe pay the extra for a window...

The best thing about this hotel is its location, which is close to many public transportation alternatives. However, our room had no windows and there was no wi fi in the rooms. You had to pay 7 pounds per day, per device to have wi fi connection. The hotel was extremely noisy. Checkout is very early (10 am)
