Was a short line at check-in that took about 15 minute wait but there was only 1 person working the desk. Staff in the hotel are all friendly and helpful. Food in the bar/cafe was amazing, very fresh and reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location for Universal with direct trolley service to the park and only a 15 minute uber ride to Hollywood Blvd and Griffith park.
Plenty of food options available and a good shopping amenities for any last minute trip requirements.
Guidance on the area from hotel staff was perfect and gave us greater context of what was available.
Room was very comfortable and quiet an served us well for our stay. I would certainly use this hoel again.

The whole building is unique, the room was clean, well maintained, shower was fine, the bathtub is low which im guessing was the style back then. Staff were friendly and welcoming, came early and Betty let me keep my bag in storage until check which was nice.
The cafe next door served sweet treats and coffee etc, the area if you dont have a car is a little out of the way. The closest grocery store is Pavillion which is a 20 min walk away up Melrose and Wilton.
It's close to Paramount studios...
