"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was moderately comfortable. It was record high temps and the air-conditioner was able to keep us cool in the room. The elevators are very small so keep that in mind. Could definitely fit a WC but probably only one other person at a time. Staff provided us with extra towels, water and coffee promptly if we asked. My only complaint really was the shower. I can appreciate good water pressure but it was almost too much, like a power washer. There were 3 adults staying and waiting an hour between showers. The water on the last shower was ice cold. Other than that I would definitely stay again"

"Long check in time (1h+). Dark room with no outside view. Bed was comfortable. Sink didn’t drain. Long check out time. Waiting over 45 min for a shuttle pick up at the airport which never came and I had to take an uber. Walls are paper thin. Room was loud."

"Has been our 4th time already in this hotel. First time we got a good view and nice room but the other 3 times our room had always a bad view even though I asked at the reception and in advance for a good view. The entrance of the hotel is also very much too crowded and the staff isn’t taking care if that. I think it was our last time at this hotel but thank you for the time."

"I've stayed at this hotel 9 or 10 times. You know going in that the rooms are small (NYC), but the rooftop bar/restaurant and location make it my favorite place to stay. This past visit was very disappointing. The room had no closet. There were three pegs for hanging your clothes. Yes, pegs. One peg held the ironing board. The middle peg was missing. So, really there was one peg. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone/line wasn't working. I tried to call housekeeping. Again, the phone/line wasn't working soI sent an e-mail. I just wanted a hanger to hang my dress for my daughter's graduation. I went downstairs and spoke to a manger. to ask for a discount and a hanger. She said since I booked with a third party there was nothing she could do except waive the daily charges. . She asked if she could send engineering up. I said sure. Again, I just wanted a hanger. The maintenance man came to the room, spent two seconds looking at the missing peg and said he would send housekeeping up with a hanger. I ended up draping my dress on the back of the chair. The nonchalant attitude was really disappointing. Upon check out, I asked if none of the rooms had closets or places to actually hang your clothes on a hanger. She seemed to truly not know. She told me that one guest had asked for 21 hangers, and that was probably why I couldn't get a hanger. Asking for a clothes hanger seems reasonable in a $400/night hotel. Next time I'll stay at the Hilton Midtown."
