"Excellent staff from check in to bartender, waitress and breakfast staff. Even if you didn’t interact with a staff member they would always greet you. The included breakfast was over the top. Not the usual continental style. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Great to be able to walk at the mall that was connected. "

"This is the second time I have stayed at the Tutwiler. Both time have been very pleasant! Large clean suites. Excellent service. Beautiful hotel. Slightly outdated, but not deteriorated. This hotel is in walking distance to the BJCC. Note, valet parking cost nearly $40, so add that to your cost, but that is not uncommon in cities. The staff was very considerate. I did not have any concerns or needs, but check in was easy and smooth. "

Everyone was engaging, friendly and professional. Rooms are spacious, well appointed and beautiful. Lively bar scene and delicious food in the restaurant. All means this is where we will stay again next time we are in Birmingham!"
