The hotel was closed and boarded up when we arrived. Even though it let us check in and select our room online that day. Expedia couldn’t confirm it was closed with Hilton and put me through hours of customer service calls so I couldn’t get transferred to the department that rebooks. Had to squeeze in to a teammate’s room reservation as everything was booked in the area. No one In Our group of 6 reservations was notified the hotel closed 2-3 weeks prior. Expedia did. Nothing to compensate me.
