"Clean room, great bed, very few amenities in the room. It was very near the airport and we could not hear the airplanes - but we could hear every door slam and conversation in the hallway, as well as the footsteps of those on the floor above us. The shuttle to the airport never arrived so we took an uber. This felt more like a hostel with private rooms than a hotel, even if it was advertised as a budget hotel."

"When we checked in there was water near the bed and smelled like it’s been sitting there awhile. Smell was like an old mop pail sitting out to long. We called front desk and they sent a worker who put a towel over the wet spot and left it like that. Our whole night the room smelled unpleasant. We asked for a shower mat as the tub was slippery and that took 4 phone phone calls before we got what we asked for. "

"Our stay at the Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush in London was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is located in a fantastic area with so many great food spots, bars, and things to do nearby. One of the highlights is the convenient location to the Westfield shopping mall, which is only about a 10-minute walk away and perfect for shopping, dining, or just exploring. The hotel itself has a beautiful atmosphere, along with a great bar and restaurant that made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience without even leaving the property. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional staff. Everyone was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Another huge plus is how close the hotel is to public transportation, making it very easy to get around London. Overall, this hotel offers the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and already look forward to my next visit."

"I’d bought this stay for my daughter and family. Firstly, I booked for 2 adults and a child, double room but I’d assumed that there’d be a pull out bed for the child. Breakfast was included. Prior to the date I had an email from the hotel, not hotels.com asking if I wanted to buy extras. I bought (and thought, paid too) for early check in from 9am. I had confirmation from the ‘manager’. Family arrived at round midday to check in. They were told that they couldn’t and that there was no early check in…. They weren’t offered a luggage store facility either and from what I was told by a very upset daughter, reception staff were rude and unhelpful. They did manage to check in at around 2pm and the room was nice, but it sort of soured their stay. And it’s not a cheap hotel. In fact my daughter said if I’d not already paid, she’d have gone next door to the Holiday Inn which is what I’d book in future if I wanted to stay in that location. This was very disappointing for a special night. I tried to ring the hotel to sort it all out, and was told there’s no managers on at the weekend. I then spoke to Madeleine who, on the phone to me and eating her lunch (that’s what it sounded like) and was most unhelpful and blamed hotels.com. It’s the worst experience in all the years I’ve used this site."
