7 Grade II Listed Cosy Cottage Free Parking
7 Grade II Listed Cosy Cottage Free Parking"Excellent location to explore the Lake District. Very clean house! It was an experience in itself! Very clear instructions everywhere in the house! Loved it! Would highly recommend!"

Ambleside Cottage with free private parking
Ambleside Cottage with free private parking"Great location and great, safe private parking spot. Cottage is clean, spacious and cosy. Cottage is a little old fashioned, and needs a bit of TLC but the basics are all there and some nice touches- milk in fridge, bread, butter, eggs, tea coffee etc supplied. Would stay again as reasonably priced for what it is."

Heron Cottage
Heron Cottage"Really lovely cottage in the middle of Ambleside. Parking is off-site about 5 minutes away from the property up a very steep hill which wasnโt made explicitly clear so bare that in mind. There is nowhere to quickly park your car to unload bags or collect the residentโs parking permit so you have to pay for parking first. The showers were nice but honestly quite dirty with lots of black marks (possibly mould) on the shower head and the silicone which put us off using one of them. Besides that...

3 Bed Barn - Sleeps up to 6 - Parking - Wifi
3 Bed Barn - Sleeps up to 6 - Parking - Wifi"A really nice apartment within easy assess the Harkshead"

Netherbeck
Netherbeck"Beautiful property in a perfect location for access to all the shops, restaurants and for wonderful walks. We had everything we needed for our 3 day stay at Netherbeck. It was clean, modern and very spacious. The promised parking permit was left in the house for us on arrival, and although there was a van parked directly outside, we did manage to park behind it once orher cars had left (though this wasn't before we had to park elsewhere until a space became available). We tried to call Sykes for...

Juniper Cottage
Juniper Cottage"We have been staying at the cottage for a number of years. Perfect location. This year the property wasn't very clean as I would expect. Wish have bath sheets and not a small bath towel. But worth staying at the property or Heather cottage. I believe owned by same owners"

Yew Tree Cottage
Yew Tree Cottage"The cottage is well equipped for self-catering for a family of 4. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space in the living / dining areas. Quiet and with easy access to the heart of Ambleside, it is in a great location."

Keldas
Keldas"Overall great place to stay-clean, comfortable and great location. One complaint-nothing was stocked like other homes/apartments we have stayed. We had to buy garbage bags, soap, salt and pepper, even toilet paper, etc. morning was stocked. Amazing amount of dishes/cookware in the kitchen, but that was it. I wish we would have known, we could have packed some of this from home. Other than that, good stay!"

Old Stones Cottage
Old Stones Cottage"The check in information did not arrive in time and it took 15 min to call and sort things out. Otherwise, there is no complaint on the property. Street parking with permit, it sometimes needs luck to find a nearby parking space."

Spring Cottage
Spring Cottage"Lovely stay here, easy parking and will stay here again when back in Ambleside."

Betty's Mews
Betty's Mews"The property was immaculate, well furnished, cosy and homely. Everything you needed to make your stay lovely. "

Waterfall
Waterfall"A cosy, comfortable apartment in a quiet location. Only a short walk into the centre of Ambleside. The apartment was very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was well equipped. "

Riverbank
Riverbank"It was a great location. We did find the car park a little bit tight and tricky to get into (as the road was fairly busy when we arrived). The cottage was great and had all we were after and the downstairs bathroom was great for my elderly Mum. The two single beds mattresses were a bit past their best so the only thing Iโd suggest to improve the property would be an update of those. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right on the river."

Acorn Cottage
Acorn Cottage"Bedding, towels, kitchen clean and good quality equipment."

Latterbarrow
Latterbarrow"Lovely property and location. Everything you could possibly need in the property. Fan a bit loud in bathroom. Parking little tight when full but doable "

Rothay Garth
"Lovely room and very polite and professional staff! Great location too!"
The Swan at Grasmere - The Inn Collection group
"The staff were fab, couldnโt do enough for you. We stayed for 2 nights and did a few walks round the area and itโs in a great area. The room was lovely and spacious. We also took our dog and the amount of space and areas they were allowed was great. The breakfasts were really nice and again, the staff were really great. My only real gripe was a 10:30am check out but thatโs being really picky. We are already planning our next one"
