"Incredible!! Loved everything about our stay in this historic hotel. The reception staff was unparalleled- so warm and friendly and helpful with local tips (thank you Andrea & Tim!!). The rooms were comfortable and clean and well stocked with what we needed for our overnight stay. Only regret is that we weren’t there longer!! The house restaurant menu looked great and the prices were very competitive. Just no time to actually try it. Maybe another time. "

"The hotel is in a fantastic position for wookey hole ..unfortunately the gas went down so had to transfer the breakfast over to the restaurant in wookey hole . Alot of the options wernt available..The rooms tbh are very basic and a bit tired. Overall a good stsy "

"The hotel was located in a natural farmland beauty. Staffs were very kind and the room was spacious. Very quiet place and good relax. "

"Stayed one night property a bit tired could do with a makeover however landlord and owner very friendly prices excellent we ate in the restaurant food was very nice. Room was fine for one night might be a bit small for longer stays. Breakfast cooked to order for me a bit small but then included in the price . We do plan to stay there again when visiting the area. "It was a great stay accept for the carpark, it’s tiny and the overflow carpark was as well. It wasn’t obvious where you had to go if you couldn’t park in the hotel spaces - ended up parking in the normal services car park and walking round to the front. Not a major issue, but for those less mobile or disabled it isn’t ideal"
