"Comfort in Brooklyn"
We'd stayed at hotels in Manhattan many times and thought that Brooklyn would make a change. We weren't disappointed, compared with Manhattan hotels, the room was huge with excellent facilities (bathroom/kitchen/living area & bedroom area. It had a solid wood floor, two TV's, comfortable furniture & good, free, WiFi connection. Views from the window are industrial, like most NYC hotels. The area (Greenpoint) is a little scruffy but appears to be undergoing improvements and we never felt unsafe walking about day or night. Manhattan Ave. has numerous deli's, bars and cafes. It's a multicultural area and has a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Don't expect a vibrant night-life however! Subway links to Manhattan are good, either by walking over the Pulaski Bridge to take the E or walking up to the G subway in Manhattan Ave. (both about 10/15 minutes). The G also takes you down to the Brooklyn Bridge for the obligatory sunset photography session.

"excellant facility"
The hotel and staff were great....only draw back was the subway station is 5 blocks away and there were no restaurants near by. Didn't effect our stay as we were out all day and only used the room at night. Free breakfast offered was very nice and had a lot of variety. over all a great stay.

"Good value"
Facilities are clean and quite new (unlike many other NYC hotels we have stayed at before). Staff is friendly and very helpful. It is a boutique hotel, which makes it, among other things, more "personable" (i.e. lobby is not crowded, front desk staff can take the time to help with requests). Parking is just across the street, in a secured lot, which makes it very convenient and is at reasonably priced. Breakfast lacks of hot items but is still good. Location is not downtown, thus it is less noisy and busy, but unfortunately not close to subway stations. Neighborhood felt safe at night. All in all we would consider staying at the Condor hotel again in a future visit.

"The Best of Brooklyn"
NU Hotel brings the best of Brooklyn to each visitor, as soon as you walk through it's lobby doors. Fresh coffee and cookies tempt you while checking in, the staff at the desk is so incredibly nice I worry they are on happy pills, but maybe it's just that they were hired because of their natural kind temperaments. Imagine! The rooms are modern without being stark and unpleasantly cold or pretentious. Free yummy breakfast each morning is a great way to start the day. Wifi is free and fast. Parking is right next door to the hotel. The location of NU is in the heart of a great shopping area. I know this review must sound like I own the place, or at least am somebody's mom who works there, but....I'm not. I'm just a really happy customer who had a great experience in Brooklyn, thanks in large part to NU Hotel. sincerely, Lee

"Wonderful surprise in Brooklyn"
I loved the Indigo Hotal in Brooklyn! It was decorated in urban chic style and was so warm and cozy on a VERY cold weekend. The staff was super helpful with taxis, restaurants and taking pictures!! The room was perfect for 2 people. The bathroom fixtures and design were perfectf or the space and style. I was there to have my friend cut adn color my hair and we did all of that in the room! Perfect! We told everyone where we were staying, and recommended it to everyone!
