We stayed 2 nights and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Check in time was a little late and the room was not ready at 3 as promised, but the lobby had an awesome atmosphere, so so hanging out was not a burden! Awesome ambience throughout the hotel! The contemporary style was different from any other hotel I've been to. Clean room, awesome staff, great stay!

This was our first visit to New York for our anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We did all the usual sights and in particular liked The Top Of The Rock - The Rainbow Room ( expensive but worth it ) and walking the Brooklyn Bridge . The weather was warm (October) and we even got to visit BB Kings Jazz Club. The carriage ride through Central Park is a must. 5th Avenue was everything you would expect and a great shopping experience and Grand Central station was amazing . Lots of walking to be done and a photo opportunity on every corner . In short a fabulous time.
We will definitely be returning.
Fantastic location safe and secure good breakfast near hop on hop off bus routes walking distance from theatres time square on the doorstep great gift shop at good prices. 24 hour deli next door great restaurants in walking distance no complaints about the Edison
Great first impressions, check in staff were nice after a long journey. Room was clean and well appointed, having a kitchen was brilliant and added flexibility to the stay ie being able to stay in for the night, being able to buy supplies for the stay. Breakfast was unexpectedly good, tasty and with lots of choice however the serving did get busy so get there early. We were able to leave baggage after check out which was very helpful so we could make the most of our stay.
Had a grea stay in TheSalisbury hotel, New York. Ideal location for all the main attractions close proximity to Times Square. Room we had was huge, with plenty of room. Basic but clean. Staff were very polite and arranged a car for us to take us to airport at the end of.our stay. Would definately book this hotel again.
Would go to The Manhattan in the Square Hotel again. It was very near times square could walk to the centre in 4 minutes. Plenty of great reasonable priced eating places very near to hotel. Many of the bus lines pick up these are the hop on hop type such as The Big Bus, Sly liner which ever one you choose they are def worth the money they also throw in a free ferry ride.
I've stayed at Pod 39 a couple of times, and both times I was pleasantly surprised. I've stayed in the smallest room with the bunk beds and they are very comfortable, always clean and I sleep well. They are good rooms if you plan to be out of the hotel most of the time, and only sleep there or if you are on a budget and don't want to go all skanky dirty with sub par hotels. Its close enough to things that you can hop in a cab and be anywhere within a few minutes, or walk around the area (it feels pretty safe) and find places to eat or grab a cup of coffee. I would definitely stay again.
Loved this placed .It did everything it promised.Roof top terrace for a late nite chill with a bottle of red..fantastic.The location is great felt like I have discovered a whole new experience in NYC mid-town east is lovely, particularly 2nd Avenue.Loved it will be back and will stay at the POD again for sure.
"Hilton Garden Inn Times Square - King bed w/view"
Hotel was in a great location in the centre of Times Square. Room was very modern with large flat screen and great bath, though it did take a while for hot water. The inclusion of a fridge and mircowave meant we always had chilled wine and able to heat up late night snacks. One draw back we found were the pillows were much too firm. Room also had floor to ceiling windows with a view of the busy square below. Staff were nice and helpful and with a main subway hub on the corner of the building meant fast tranversing of the city on our numerous exercursions. Bottom line a very nice new hotel at a fair price in a even better location. 5/5
