Beautiful retreat professionally maintained great service

We didn't get the room we'd requested and paid for. We were very disappointed with the room we got. Bathrooms and rooms definitely need to be renovated. Over rated as a 5 star hotel. Only positive was the good staff they have.

I stayed for two nights at Ganga Kinare before joining a yoga and meditation retreat. The property has a beautiful location and lovely views of the Ganges, which is definitely its biggest highlight. The food was decent and most of the staff were polite and helpful. However, overall the experience felt quite mediocre and did not match a 4- or 5-star standard. The front desk felt very transactional, especially when it came to arranging taxis and services, which often felt overpriced. As someone who has stayed in many luxury hotels, the overall experience didn’t feel truly premium. A pleasant stay for the views and location, but not a luxury hotel experience.

Very disappointing checkout experience at Grand Hyatt Goa. Despite calling reception three times requesting help with luggage, no one came to assist. After waiting for quite some time, I eventually had to carry all the luggage myself during checkout. Service should not be different during check-in and check-out. Guests expect the same level of attention and hospitality throughout their stay, especially at a luxury hotel. This was certainly not the experience I expected.

We had a really great stay at Taj Mahal Tower. The moment we arrived, the entrance felt grand and welcoming, and it set the tone for the rest of the visit. My parents absolutely loved the breakfast buffet. There were so many options and everything tasted fresh. It was honestly one of their favorite parts of the stay. What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone was so warm, polite, and genuinely helpful. The hospitality felt very personal and thoughtful, which made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back.
