Sagar Island Kid friendly Holidays

Very bad experience I had during my stay. Though they are claiming 3 to 4 star equivalent but in practical they dont have such facilities. Complementary breakfast was worst than I ever experienced and thier stuff are very rude and dont know how to behave with the guest.

All I can say is Wow !!!! The manager Mr Pradal , The Manager I call her Rupa , Indra the server , The house keeping Manager and team. Mr. Sanjay from in room dining and the chefs are all such incredible thoughtful human beings They are a gift to humanity We are so happy here that we feel at home and we have extended It is a lovely hotel it is so perfect for relaxing being pampered and receiving all the tender loving care that you would want at a home away from home . I love it here and I’m grateful They really take the Taj level of service and exemplify it Thank you We found our new home in New town

In this trip to India, I have been traveling all across India for work. I stayed in a few cities, during my travel I visited Kolkata twice and stayed in two different hotels. One thing I generally do is start my day with the breakfast like most of you, and this is where this hotel fell short. They have too many staff who when asked about say coffee will point you to the other direction and say please go there once you walk down there and say ask for toast they will point you to another corner etc. I probably had a good number of steps in during my breakfast that’s the only positive thing. So far in this trip to India I stayed in a few Taj, Hyatt and boutique hotels may be they spoilt me with their hospitality so if this review seems harsh, it just because of my other experiences. Specially at Taj Gurugram their chef came down and made me a special omelette himself and delivered to my table extra points to him for that :) And yes forgot to mention at Novotel their bar failed to provide a basic cocktail like old fashioned, they did not have the ingredients to make a whiskey based cocktail. So if you just need a room to crash and don’t care much about breakfast etc, Novotel will work for you.

Very well located in the heart of the city. Close to office area. Close to Shopping area. Close to many recognised restaurants. Old, but very well kept
