Overall, the hotel is an oasis in a chaotic city. The staff is efficient and kind. This may be a 5-star hotel by Jaipur standards, but it's closer to a 3.5-star hotel by US standards, mainly because the rooms are a bit dated. The breakfast is incredible, and there are many options for dinner. The Asian restaurant's execution is uneven. It's fine for a night or two.

We ended up having to change rooms as did our friends. Initially our friends changed due to a funny smell in their bathroom. Our room was beautiful and clean but after returning from dinner it smelled terribly of smoke. The staff were very courteous and kind and quickly moved us to another room. We’re not sure if cigarette smoke from outside somehow drifted into the room. The next room was nice but faced the street where stray dogs barked all night and the mattress on the bed was worn and sunk in the middle. We didn’t sleep a wink the first night. The 2nd night the dogs were quieter which helped.

Everything here is authentic and gracious. One of the most beautiful accommodations we have stayed in. Leaving Jaipur today delighted and refreshed.

The property is beautiful, located amidst nature, quiet and peaceful. Staff were excellent in their assistance and nature- very helpful, particularly Robin! Cleaning staff were excellent too, took every measure to make sure our stay was comfortable. Lot of activities for kids- they loved and enjoyed the stay. Overall, very pleasing experience. Would choose none other than Taj for our future stay.

We booked this hotel after leaving a previous reserved hotel that was terrible This hotel made our stay so pleasant and made us forget about the bad experience with the previous booking and with Expedia. If you are looking for safety and comfort this is the place. Simple but clean and comfortable
