Free car parking! Easy to find , nice modern bedroom , shower ,tv , coffee tea etc , We managed to get the key early , Breakfast was Cooked freshly for us .

We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Our two day stay was a joy. Comfy well-prepared room. Lovely breakfast.

Gorgeous looking hotel. Already lovely but excited to see it when their plans to gain a 4th star come to fruition. My only qualms are rather thin walls to the next bathroom (you can hear the next rooms shower power unit) and the ventilation (weather was low 20s but room got full sun and with no air con it was very hot, even with windows fully open). Otherwise, tasteful decor, a really nice restaurant with super food and a beautiful location.

Stayed with my husband for our Wedding Anniversary and it was amazing. The Hotel knew this and left us a lovely note and some chocolates in our room for when we arrived, what a lovely surprise. We went to the Spa for a swim and sauna, we almost fell asleep on the beds we were so relaxed.

I was greeted by a lovely lady called Gill who informed me of all the information relevant for my stay, just the right amount not overwhelming like some places I have stayed. The room well Minnie house/cottage was beautiful, the decore suited the cottage perfect every last detail was in place. The bed was comfy and actual real plump pillows ahhhhh. Fresh milk in the fridge is always a plus, free parking and super quick free wifi. Will defiantly return on my next stay in York.

Well appointed rooms, nice helpful staff excellent restaurant

We had a lovely stay at Marmadukes. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and when we had a problem with our room we were moved straight away without any fuss. It's a beautiful building and in a great location from which to discover York. Would definitely recommend!

The building is beautiful and decor inside is lovely. The staff are attentive and polite. Great value for money. Would definitely like to return.

A near perfect stay at Delta hotels. The food, staff and pool were perfect. The only minus was the room’s bathroom which desperately needs an upgrade. Otherwise a great hotel next to the racecourse with a beautiful walk down the river into York. Would definitely come back.

Lovely stay at Aldwalk for 2 nights. Ate in both restaurants and both were amazing. Stunning interiors. Our room (superior double) was lovely and very big, the shower was great, appreciated the robes and slippers. Can’t wait for the spa to be completed for our return visit

I have stayed numerous times at this hotel and always enjoyed my time there, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water, a good shower with a nice warm room.

This is a fantastic hotel, in an idyllic location. Everything about Goldsborough is of the highest quality, with great attention to detail .Our room was exceptional and the cleanliness was the best I have seen so far. The gardens are delightful to walk round and the head gardener was very polite and friendly, as were all the staff.
