"The Rosedale on Robson has been our "go to" hotel whenever we come into Vancouver to take in a sporting or cultural event. In this case we took in three professional sports events over three days. We watched the visiting Toronto Tempo play their first game in Vancouver, saw the Vancouver Whitecaps the following night and then took in a late afternoon B.C. Lions game the next day. The hotel is only two blocks from B.C. Place. There are numerous eateries and coffee shops all around the hotel. The shopping areas are also only a few blocks away. The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. If you convenience and reasonable price points then the Rosedale should be your "go to" hotel in the future."
"The room was lovely, but we had noisy neighbors who arrived back to the room around 10:30 and the was a lot of cupboard banging and clanging.
There also a fire drill alarm that went off at 4am with an announcement that the issue was being investigated and not the leave the room, several more announcements followed until the all clear was given, unfortunately we were unable to go back to sleep so not such a good rest."
"Hotel was very convenient to YVR Airport. They have a free shuttle that runs every 30 mins to/from the airport so we didn't bother renting a car this time. The Canada Line Skytrain runs from the airport to downtown, and is easy to use. If you buy the day pass at the hotel gift shop, you save $7 versus at the station. If you buy the pass from the airport kiosk, you pay the extra funds for the airport improvement fee,
The gym is 24/hrs, on the roof top and very nice equipment, Would be better if there was a hot tub or pool facility, but wasn't necessary.
Rooms are clean, spacious, quiet. Good stay and walking distance to the shopping outlets and various food/pubs nearby."
"We had a waterfront view… stunning. Room was on par with most hotels, nothing spectacular. The one downside was the lack of staff in Coal Harbour bar. Two staff members running around, excellent service when they got to us, but definitely need another server or two.
Loved the service from room to cruise ship."
"The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Valet parking was extremely great and helpful!! The rooftop bar on the 9th floor was delicious and we enjoyed our stay!
Only downside, it can be very very loud first thing in the morning with trucks (I think they were the garbage trucks). Seemed like the windows were always open as you can hear almost everything from outside. Our bathroom door lock was broken (wasn’t really a huge issue in my case but was more of an issue for my husband).
We, however, absolutely loved the AC, especially with how hot and humid Vancouver was. All in all, would recommend and stay here again."
