"We have traveled over the holidays twice to Iberostar Del Mar Cancun. We find it to be clean, food options are great. Accommodations for gluten free and vegan are becoming more available. The tropical environment of the resort is fantastic. But what makes this place so special, is the staff. They are friendly, helpful, and make you feel like family. Highly recommend. The on sight nightly shows and lobby activities make it fun. "

"We were upgraded to a huge room, enjoyed the beach and main pool and bars, kayaking and included snorkel and drinking catamaran outing. Dinners were good, especially Italian restaurant Mio, Palafitos which cost extra. Mexican and Caribbean restaurants were good also. Had great experience with the spa (extra $) Best lunch was the taqueria. Staff around property were nice and friendly and helpful. They try to upsell a lot for wine or special dinners or to join club, and the included room credit is really just a smaller credit for each of several different extra cost things, not one credit you can apply to one expensive charge. Still our 3 rooms for adult family and the experiences were great for all. "

"The staff was incredible and the food was fantastic! The room was good - I found two things which weren't optimal: We had to call the front desk to have them disable the auto room power off feature(s); that system was annoying. We were watching TV and the whole room shut off because someone wasn't moving/walking around the room. Secondly, and most important, the water pressure in the shower was not very strong, at all. It would have been nice to have more water pressure than there was."
