From the minute we stepped through the main entrance to the moment we reluctantly checked out our experience was one of sheer joy. The staff were so welcoming and professional . The hotel superbly appointed. The service impeccable. Firmdale know their business and give the client a memorable and thoroughly supreme experience.

Very quirky! Beautiful building. Once you get past the fact it’s not like your usual “hotel” and the place is steeped in history and 17th/18th century architecture. Wonky floors and beautiful antique furniture. Roll top baths and old fashion toilets, but beautifully kept and very clean. Very comfortable beds with lovely white cotton bedding and soft white towels. Just be aware no showers, but shower attachment with the beautiful baths! Really cool adult vibe, room was much bigger than photos look. Amazing location for Old Compton street, theatres and China town all within 5/10 min walk and Piccadilly Circus underground a few mins away. Allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours when we checked out so we could carry on exploring. Staff really helpful!

Rooftop bar was amazing in 32 degrees sun.. felt on top of the world.. lovely crowd polite and courteous staff.

It was a very central functional cabin sized room which I expected. Maintenance wise it could do with a few fixes like the shower door seal and the aircon function. Otherwise great location and a fair price for that.

No tv! Plug was on iron was broken! Could hear peoples footsteps all night! Location was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Was up to good standards on cleanliness.

Although I have stayed at 5 star hotels on several occasions, I was amazed by the standard of service of this hotel. All the hotel staff were extremely polite and gave the true meaning to the word "valued" customer. From the first time I entered the hotel it was a different experience all together. Valet and doorman greeted us with a smile and remembered our name each time we left and returned! Wait staff in the dining rooms were so friendly and very attentive. Beautifully decorated for Christmas!
