Very quirky! Beautiful building. Once you get past the fact it’s not like your usual “hotel” and the place is steeped in history and 17th/18th century architecture. Wonky floors and beautiful antique furniture. Roll top baths and old fashion toilets, but beautifully kept and very clean. We enjoyed our stay at the Haymarket Hotel so much last year that we returned again this year. The staff are amazing. Very friendly, helpful and highly professional. The decor is stunning. The hotel has a lovely light colourful ambience about it giving it a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. The location is perfect for sightseeing, shows and dining out. But our favourite thing was going for a pre breakfast jog along the Mall, now that was really special.

We were put in the smallest and most claustrophobic room I have ever stayed in which was very disappointing. It had dark wood panelling and slopped walls and was overall very dark and dreary. Can't get a better location, near to Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq, Buckingham Palace...the hotel itself is immaculate, the double room was of a reasonable size, the bed so comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Shower was excellent, complimentary drinks on arrival and cookies and cranberry juice / water in the room. Downsides..not many, view was terrible and there was a slightly unusual smell in the room which you only really noticed first entering.

My stay was excellent, I had spoken with Kitti a couple of times through E-Mail about a room decoration I wanted as I was celebrating a birthday, Kitti went above and beyond to organise everything and make the room look beautiful. The hotel is very elegant, the room was very clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall my experience was excellent and I’d definitely recommend staying here.
