AVOID AT ALL COSTS
It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The hotel lobby is located inside a busy restaurant. it was impossible to get through the door with my luggage to check in.
The front desk staff was rude and insufferable. He intimidated me by keep repeating it was stated on Expedia website that the hotel doesn’t have elevator which I swear on my life I wasn’t aware of in the 1st place.
Guess on the website they failed to mention the hotel room is located right above to a club next store. Even with double glazed windows you can still hear the loud music til their closing time. Couldn’t get some shut eyes til 3 am for 9 days I was staying there. The bed shakes with the music on so loud. The room was so dummy without any bright light source, I couldn’t see clear when I put my makeup on in the morning with all the curtains opened. The pros: well located with lot of restaurants close by.
Cosy, welcoming place. Feels like you’ve stumbled upon a best kept secret. It has an intimate atmosphere and a cool ambience. A perfect place to hole up for a few cold January nights. Rooms are clean and well kept. Staff were lovely - friendly but discreet. I look forward to going back.

Smallest room I've ever stayed in. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Noise outside the windows of my room from the pub beside was unbearable. I asked to be moved to a higher floor. Which they did but seemed to punished me for asking by putting me in (what I thought was impossible) an even smaller room. I found the staff speaking in another language while you were there or walked by the desk so always felt like they were talking about you.
Rooms are not designed for guest they are only considering space and not the use of it. No shelves for anything. NO place to put your suitcase. Two hooks on the wall that once used began to come out of the drywall they were screwed into and were then useless. I feel there should be very clear warnings on the size of the rooms and the noise level outside this hotel. This should be in the Expedia listing. If I had understood the offering better I would not have book this location.
Obviously I should have read the reviews more carefully before booking. This stay pretty much ruined my experience in London. There was nothing restful or relaxing about it. It only added stress to every morning trying to get ready in a space the size of my closet at home. It felt more like a fancy jail cell. I would never stay there again and I would never recommend it to anyone staying longer than one night.
It made me rethink using Expedia as much as I do because I felt very ripped off and will trying other options for my next trip abroad
We were really impressed with Mimis. We stayed over the xmas period with 2x adults & 2x kids. It was ideal! Will definitely recommend and hopefully stay again when we're next in london.
What a fantastic hotel with an amazing bar downstairs. So much to do within walking distance as well. My only suggestion to the hotel is to add more hooks in the room!
Great location and beautifully decorated. I booked one of their windowless rooms and it was just as advertised. It was a very small room but suited my needs. Location is near anything you could want to do in Soho.
