I booked this hotel on Expedia and surprisingly found the hotel to exceed on our expectations. Hotel is constructed on more than 100 year old Portuguese building. Food was excellent. Hotel staff was very good and courteous. Ambience of the hotel is very good. Rooms are pool facing. Rooms and washroom are very big in size.

Nice big clean rooms. We really had Great food especially at their restaurant Latest recipe & all credit goes to their Chef Daksh & the assistants Vishal, Smyarana.

Great hotel. Clean and good size rooms. Has. Balcony.As per photos. Lovely infinity pool. Away from main street and quite but easy to get to places by walking or taxi. Beach and town 30 mins walk. Needed to ask for coffee sachets and white towels were not hotel soft or white but not stained but just dull and hard.

An amazing place to stay We had issues with the lock of the room on the first day which was resolved however on the second day we had foul smell coming from the air conditioning. The manager Amar was fantastic and very helpful he upgraded us to a suite. Both standard and suite room are beautiful, the hotel has a lovely environment and staffs are very friendly and second to none in making sure all needs are meet from the minute you walk in until to check out. Our stay in May 2015 was amazing, there was 4 of us, one from UK, one from India, one from Oman and one from Indonesia, we are all good friends and often travel together. The hotel location is very good as it is only 2 km from the beach, but away from the hustle of the markets and built up city. Stayed in this hotel a few times now. As per normal it is excellent. Near enough town if you want a little walk, beach short taxi away. Food in restaurant is amongst the best I have had in a hotel. You must have the Goan food.

Enjoyed the stay . Will go back to the same place. Nice and a very hospitable bar. Good pool bar. Very courteous and accomadating staff. Suggestion : book a room on the first floor sea facing. It has doors opening to the lawn and beach pathway. If out of budget, the garden view rooms on the first floor are the same and only a minute's walk to the beach path ( of course no beach view). Goa Marriott will be by first choice and I recommend it to all.

Great hotel with what it effectively its own private beach. The staff were wonderful and so was the food. It really was amazing and we had a great time. It could be a bit quiet at night and there isn't much else around - although if you walk left along the beach there is a beach shack and another hotel both doing excellent food but at much cheaper rates (and the drinks are much cheaper too). The price of food and drink is extremely expensive by Indian standards, but fairly standard for UK...

We had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. Good value for money, and we'd happily stay here again. Recommended!

A beautiful & quiet property in Moira which is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The private pool room was really good and the hotel architecture is great. Small hotel with excellent service. Food was great too!

One of the more up market hotels in the area. A higher standard that we expected for the area. The rooms were perfect - had two joining double rooms so was excellent for us as a family with two kids. The pool was nice, but spoilt slightly with brits and towels on sun beds from 6am! The staff were helpful and efficient.

We had one of the best experience in Merlot Suites! The rooms were so clean, nice with an amazing views. The pool was also so clean ! The hotel location is close to everywhere and quite the same time. The breakfast was tasty with variety in each day ! The staff were so kind and helpful more than any other place that we have been.. Thanks a-lot to everyone once again!

Our overall stay was amazing. The staff were very kind and professional. We hit a snag on the last day as we left but the staff were prompt in correcting it.
