Overall, my impression of the hotel is very positive. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The location is great - right in the heart of Goa Panaji with easy access to all the city has to offer. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast, which had a wide variety of options from English to Indian breakfast, which suited my tastes perfectly. It was well-prepared, fresh and delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. Another aspect of the hotel that impressed me was the quick turnaround time for any request. Whenever I needed anything, the staff were always prompt and efficient in their response. They were always happy to help and made me feel well-cared for throughout my stay. The rooms themselves were on the smaller side, but they had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-stocked, and the overall ambiance of the room was relaxing and inviting. I had the chance to use the sauna and spa facilities during my stay, and I have to say it was the cherry on the cake. The spa was luxurious and relaxing, with a range of treatments on offer to help me unwind after a long day of exploring the city. In summary, I would highly recommend Vivanta by Taj in Goa Panaji for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Goa.

Vivanta Panaji is in a fantastic location for business in Panaji and surrounding areas, which is what I was looking for. I could walk everywhere in main Panjim business district and shopping. Short 10 minute walk to the Mandovi riverwalk area for running/walking exercise. Expedia and Vivanta should/could do a better job of more clearly differentiating the two Vivanta properties in Panjim - this one in Panjim and the other one is in Miramar nearby - it was quite confusing while planning our trip. To be clear, this is not a hotel for beaches if that is what you are looking for. The Indian hot breakfast at this hotel is amazingly good, even with some unique and authentic Goan offerings (we're Goans by origin). The service staff was extremely attentive and responsive to all needs. There is some kind of city canal or sewer that runs adjacent to the front of the property which is quite dirty and foul-smelling. I am not sure what if anything Vivanta can do about it, but it takes away from an otherwise fantastic hotel experience.
